How to introduce yourself in an interview
This is one of the first question asked by an HR interviewer in your HR round, which is mostly the final round of a interview process
There are some points to keep in mind while answering what this question
- Don’t state the obvious, if a company is coming for college placement don’t include things like your college name, which year you are in, or what is your CGPA, the interviewer already know that, just give a brief intro about your stream and that will be enough
- Elaborate about what you have done in the past 4 years and what you are currently doing, like you may have done some web-Dev include that, and if you are learning some new technology include that too.
- Mind the pause in between of your introduction, like when changing the direction of the introduction always give a small pause and then continue
- Body language is everything, always carry a smile and hand gestures to make the conversation more interesting.
